A reminder for our female fans…and the females in the lives of our male fans:
Just a recap: this season, Royals Charities is partnering with 98.1 KUDL to support The Ali Kemp Educational Foundation, which was created to honor Ali Kemp, a metro teen who was murdered in 2002. T.A.K.E. Defense serves as a legacy to Ali’s life and has trained more than 20,000 girls and women across the county in basic self-defense skills.
The two T.A.K.E. Defense self-defense classes Royals Charities are hosting this year are FREE (as in cost NO money) and are open to all female fans ages 12 and older. To attend the class this Saturday, you need to pre-register online here at royals.com/takedefense. Don’t forget to print off the wavier and bring it with you. Participants under the age of 18 need that parental signature, so don’t forget that either!
T.A.K.E. Defense self-defense class No. 2: Saturday, Aug. 16 from 9-11 a.m.
So…get registered and then get geared up to learn some self-defense on the field at The K this Saturday!
