David added to the mark today with game number 167.  He last committed an error on September 15, 2008, in the sixth inning of a game in K.C. after a single by Ichiro Suzuki.  David has played at all three outfield positions during the streak.  Teammate Mitch Maier is making a run of his own at A.O.  Maier currently sits at 144 consecutive errorless games.

Hall of Fame Classic Photos

Some of your all-time favorite Royals played against a team of former MLB stars in the Hall of Fame Classic on Friday.  As the photos show, they had a great time at the “New” K as they raised money for TeamSmile and Royals Charities

Here’s what we noticed in a few of the pictures below:  Dennis Leonard has maintained his imposing look on the mound…Willie Wilson still has that great jump out of the batter’s box…George Brett played defense as a righty and as a lefty…Frank White connected on a couple of great hits…and Brett’s signature follow through looks the same as it did throughout his career.
