Sabes visits KC camp

As the Royals were finishing up their stretching this morning in the Surprise early-morning sun, a surprise visitor (no pun intended) came wandering up to the group.  The visitor was none other than Royals Hall of Famer Bret Saberhagen, in town as part of his new duties as a player agent.  Sabes was welcomed graciously by the Royals coaches, including Royals Pitching Advisor Bill Fischer.  Fischer then convinced Saberhagen to give an impromptu speech to all 64 guys in camp about enjoying what you do and being proud of putting on Royal blue each and every day.  Despite the fact Royals camp is teeming with Royals legends like George Brett, Frank White and John Wathan, it was great to see Sabes!
