#VoteBroxton !
Thursday is the last day to vote for the final two All-Stars for this year’s game at Kauffman Stadium. The voting runs until 3:00 p.m. Central and Royals’ closer Jonathan Broxton is among the five players vying for the last A. L. spot. This season Broxton holds a 1-1 record with 20 saves and a 2.05 ERA in 30.2 innings of work over 30 outings. He leads the A.L. with 19 saves since April 26, trailing only San Francisco’s Santiago Casilla for the MLB lead .
It is up to you, the fans, to determine who will be the final representative for the American League in K.C. Billy Butler is the lone Royals’ representative so far and with the Mid-Summer Classic in our city we need to want to crown another Royal!
There are two ways you that can vote for Broxton. The first way is by visiting royals.com/asg then clicking on the final vote option and choosing Broxton. The second way is by using your mobile phone. To vote simply text message “A1” to 89269. Time is running out and Broxton needs your help to Join Billy next week on the big stage in our city! You can also encourage others to send another Royals player to the All-Star Game by using the hashtag #VoteBroxton in your tweets.
