Dream Factory: A Royals Reunion
A special reunion took place at Kauffman Stadium on Tuesday as Wyatt Sperry visited with Kevin Seitzer. KC’s hitting coach presented Sperry with a Royals jersey.
In 1987, Wyatt was battling cancer as a four-year old. Wyatt, who had a leg amputated due to the cancer, came to a Royals game and had the chance to meet the rookie third baseman through the Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City (1987 photo below).
Larry Moore will have coverage of the reunion on KMBC this Friday, June 29 at 5:00 p.m. For more information on the Dream Factory, visit http://www.kcdream.org/.
