George Brett to manage U.S. Futures team, will be joined by Jirschele, Wathan and DeLucia
Major League Baseball announced the coaching and support staffs for the 2012 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game today. The game will take place on July 8 at Kauffman Stadium.
Hall of Famer George Brett will manage the U.S. team. Omaha manager Mike Jirschele is on the coaching staff, along with former KC manager John Wathan, who is currently a Special Assistant for Player Development & Scouting. Chris DeLucia, Kansas City’s Medical Operations Coordinator, will serve on the U.S. Team’s support staff.
