Royals to salute the Kansas City A’s on June 2

The Royals will salute the Kansas City A’s by recognizing several former Kansas City A’s players – including pitchers Diego Segui, Lew Krausse and legendary grounds keeper, George Toma – during a special pregame ceremony on June 2.  In salute to Charlie O., the famous Missouri mule which Finley anointed as the team mascot, fans will have an opportunity to take their photo with a Missouri mule outfitted with Charlie O.’s original blanket behind Rivals Sports Bar.  Plus, the first 20,000 fans will receive a 1960 KC Cap courtesy of Taco Bell!

The following Kansas City A’s alumni are scheduled to participate:

Groundskeeper George Toma

Catcher Joe Azcue

Pitcher Don Buschhorn

Pitcher Lew Krausse

Pitcher Chuck Dobson

Pitcher Diego Segui

Pitcher Rollie Sheldon
