Photos: WBC Welterweight Champion Victor Ortiz visits Kauffman Stadium
WBC Welterweight Champion of the World Victor “Vicious” Ortiz, a native of Garden City, Kan., threw out a first pitch before today’s game. Ortiz also met with players, staff and coaches in the Kansas City clubhouse.

Ortiz asked Tim Collins for advice on the first pitch.The champ showed manager Ned Yost a few moves. He also met with General Manager Dayton Moore, who attended junior college in Victor's hometown of Garden City.Jeff Francoeur checked out the champ's belt, then hit a home run in the second inning.
