Royals introduce Fan Family of the Week promotion

The Royals have announced details of its new Royals Fan Family of the Week promotion.  In conjunction with the club’s Family FunDay Sundays, fans are encouraged to submit a family photo taken at Kauffman Stadium for a chance to become the Royals Fan Family of the Week.  Each week’s winning photo will be featured on www.royals.com/fanfamily.

Fans who submit a photo at www.royals.com/fanfamily may share the Fan Family gallery and will receive a 50 percent discount offer to attend the next Family FunDay Sunday game at The K.  Fans will also have the opportunity to share their photo with friends and family through Facebook and Twitter. 

Fans looking for some inspiration for the Fan Family of the Week promotion can find the perfect setting during the Family FunDay Sunday festivities.  New in 2011, Family FunDay Sundays feature face painters, caricature and balloon artists and live family-friendly entertainment in the Outfield Experience.  Fans can also run the bases following the game during the Sprint Fun Run (conditions permitting).  To add to the fun, fans may purchase an All-Day Play Pass for unlimited activities in the Outfield Experience for just $10.  For details, visit www.royals.com/sunday.
