Around the World with ATH: Turkey and Israel
We’ve had fans send in photos from the Middle East – let’s take a look!
Mike, Sara and their daughter Elica are a military family stationed in Turkey. They sent us pictures of a recent trip in which they visited seven ancient cities in Western Turkey.
Mike and Sara are originally from Springfield, Mo., and Mike is a long-time Royals fan. Their assignment in Turkey ends just in time for them to catch a home game this spring. They’ll then be moving to a new assignment near Los Angeles, where they plan to watch the Royals and Angels later this year.
Jeremy, originally from K.C., moved to Chicago in 2005. He wore his Alex Gordon jersey as he checked out the view from the top of Masada, a mountain fortress in Israel. The Negev Desert is behind Jeremy in the photo.
Thank you to Mike and Jeremy for sending in photos!
