Royals with four overall TV exposures this spring
The Royals will appear on television four times during Spring Training, with telecasts on both FOX Sports Kansas City and MLB Network.
FOX Sports Kansas City, the exclusive local television home of Royals baseball, will air the March 25 game vs. the San Francisco Giants and the March 28 contest against the Milwaukee Brewers. The spring telecasts kick off a schedule that features 142 Royals games on FOX Sports Kansas City, including the Opening Day contest on March 31 vs. the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. MLB Network will air 83 Major League exhibition games as part of its 2011 Spring Training coverage, including Kansas City’s games on March 2 at the Los Angeles Dodgers and the following day on March 3 at the Angels. The broadcasts on March 2 and 3 will be tape-delayed, airing at 8:00 p.m. Central. All MLB Network games will be carriage of local telecasts, including local announcers.
