Giving thanks this holiday season

Happy Thanksgiving from Around the Horn in KC!  The Royals are involved in several community events this holiday season.  Last week, associates from the office joined Alex Gordon, Frank White and Frank’s wife Teresa to serve a Thanksgiving feast at the Men’s Center of KC’s City Union Mission.  Kristin and Mack Norman, wife and son of alum Les Norman, led a second group at City Union Mission’s Family Center.

Today, a contingent will help serve a Thanksgiving lunch at the Guadalupe Center.  Next week, another team will be assisting shoppers at the Johnson County Christmas Bureau Holiday Shop.  Here are a few pictures from the City Union Mission meal and links to these local organizations, where you can find out more about volunteer opportunities.
