Entering Thursday, eight of Scott Podsednik’s 37 career regular-season home runs had come vs. Houston, along with his biggest roundtripper, a walk-off blast that lifted Chicago to a win in Game Two of the 2005 World Series. Add to that the list of memorable events below and it’s no surprise that the Dallas resident came up with another big moment last night with a 3-run home run that lifted Kansas City to a 5-2 win:

- his second career multi-home run game was on April 17, 2004 at Houston
- his lone career grand slam was on June 23, 2006 vs. Houston
