5-5 (Cinco de Mayo)

Brett_Uhlich_5.jpgIn honor of Cinco de Mayo, here is one of our favorite pictures from last year’s opening of the Royals Hall of Fame.  Hall of Famer George Brett and Kevin Uhlich, Royals’ Senior Vice President-Business Operations, are taking a look at the giant number ‘5’.  3,154 baseballs are in the display – one for every hit in Brett’s career.

If you haven’t been to the Royals Hall of Fame, we suggest going before a game.  If you toured the RHOF last year, it’s time to go back!  The RHOF staff is continuously updating the exhibits.  For example, Joakim Soria recently set the record for saves by a Mexican-born pitcher.  His hat from that game was on display a few days later!
