DeJesus surpasses A.O.'s 39-year old record
On Tuesday night, David DeJesus played his 166th consecutive errorless game in the outfield, surpassing the near 40-year old team record for an outfielder.
Amos Otis had a 165 game stretch from July 18, 1970 to July 29, 1971.
David added to the mark today with game number 167. He last committed an error on September 15, 2008, in the sixth inning of a game in K.C. after a single by Ichiro Suzuki. David has played at all three outfield positions during the streak. Teammate Mitch Maier is making a run of his own at A.O. Maier currently sits at 144 consecutive errorless games.
