Photos: Friday morning 'B' game, Surprise Stadium
The Royals and Rangers played a ‘B’ game this morning on the Rangers’ side of the complex. Kila Ka’aihue (at left) had a big day for the Royals, collecting three hits, including a home run. Texas won 7-6, however, the game ended in a strange way. According to FSKC’s Joel Goldberg (@goldbergkc on Twitter), Billy Butler was about to come to the plate with the bases loaded in the final inning when Texas changed pitchers. Under the ‘B’ game setup, the runners were taken off of the bases when the new pitcher came in. Our final photo is of Surprise Stadium. If you’ve never been to Spring Training, think about making the trip! It’s a beautiful complex.
