Monday lineup in Goodyear

The Royals travel to Goodyear today to play their second ‘road’ game of 2010 (it is the first game of outside of Surprise).  Cincinnati is the opponent for the 2:05 CT, 1:05 MT start.  The Reds are training in Arizona for the first time in their storied history after having spring homes all over the country – from Fort Worth to New Orleans to Miami and all points in between.  Cincinnati had been stationed in Florida for all but three years since 1923, with the exception being from 1943-45 due to World War II.

Another note about today’s game – Cuban-born lefty Aroldis Chapman is scheduled to make his Cincinnati debut out of the bullpen.
