Introducing: Chris Getz
Photographer Chris Vleisides sent along these cool pictures of Chris Getz taking swings at Spring Training. Here are a few facts about one of your newest Royals:
- Getz attended Wake Forest University for one year before transferring to the University of Michigan. Now the former maize and blue star will wear Royal blue!
- Chris played in the Futures Game in 2008.
- He stole 25 bases last season in 27 attempts for the White Sox. The 92.6 percent success rate was the best in the American League among players with at least 10 attempts!
