Billy Butler had three more doubles on Wednesday. According to STATS, Inc., Billy is the first player in Major League Baseball since at least 1954 to have four games with three doubles in the same season! We say since at least 1954 as that is as far back the day-by-day search engine went. Billy is now in a tie for fourth on the franchise list for doubles in a season with 45. Butler is in good company – he’s tied with George Brett and Frank White.
