Hostess "Streeerike It Rich" Million Dollar Event

Just prior to tonight’s game, Jeff Faust from Noblesville, Indiana, winner of the Hostess Cupcakes national promotion, will try to win a million dollars on the Kauffman Stadium field.  Jeff and his family were randomly chosen from more than 160,000 entries after entering the Hostess “Streeerike It Rich Sweepstakes” on a cupcake box earlier this summer. 

To win the million dollars, Jeff must throw three consecutive strikes through a target.  He gets $5,000 and the trip for trying.  If one pitch goes through the target, he wins $10,000 and if two pitches go through, he wins $15,000.

Jeff has overcome several challenges in life, including losing an eye due to glaucoma and recent rotator cuff surgeries.
