Operation Breakthrough benefits from Diamond of Dreams
Hundreds of Royals fans attended the second annual Diamond of Dreams event on July 23, taking the field to help raise $150,000 for locally-based Operation Breakthrough, a St. Vincent’s Family Service Center.
The sold-out event featured appearances from General Manager Dayton Moore, Manager Trey Hillman and several Royals players as well as entertainment from local U2 cover band Rattle and Hum and a Kansas City-inspired food and drink menu.
