Trey Hillman Pregame Media Session
Welcome to America
Manager Trey Hillman had nothing but good things to say about today’s starting pitcher Koji Uehara, who played in Japan while Trey was managing. “He is like the rest of the Japanese players, very professional, quite intelligent, and well educated in all aspects of the game,” Hillman said. Trey stated, “He reads batters very well, he monitors the runners on base well, and he’s a good quality pitcher, we have to get after him.”

Shortstop Mike Aviles is still out of the line-up with a sore forearm, he is day-to-day. With the off day coming up tomorrow, Hillman said, “Don’t expect anything new come Tuesday afternoon with our club.”
