Crown photos, open house reminder
The final sphere of the Kauffman Stadium crown was placed above CrownVision today. Here are a few pictures and a reminder that the open house is on Sunday, April 5, from 11 to 3.
Parking and admittance to the open house is free to all fans, but a ticket is required for entrance into the stadium. Fans may secure tickets for the event by visiting the Kauffman Stadium Box Office on the day of the event, beginning at 9 a.m. We hope to see you out at the stadium!

That looks fantastic! Kudos to the Royals organization for making the decision to take it back down and do it right. Kudos also to Zahner Architectural Metal for redoing it so quickly. You guys built the first crown and I can see why the Royals used your services for the second one.

The crown looks amazing! Much better than I even anticipated…What are the plans for the back of the scoreboard, now that the crown is up? Will work begin on getting the blue backround with the white “KC” on it, or will it stay plain gray for the time being? I’ve been really curious to know, since nothing has been mentioned about it.
