What does Shane Costa have to do to get in the line up? What is he, ten for his last ten. Sure seems like it. He has led the PCL in hitting on at least one occasion. What does he have to gain by being sent back to AAA? Does the fact that he is out of options play a role on why he can’t showcase his talents. If he did play more this spring, other teams might realize how good he truly is and claim him if the Royals try to send him to the minors where he truly does not belong.

What does Shane Costa have to do to get some playing time? What is he, ten for his last ten? Sure seems like it. What does sending him back to AAA do for his development? He has led the PCL in hitting on least one occasion. Does the fact that he is out of options have anything to do with the fact that the Royals are not playing him. Obviously if he plays and does well, it will be extremely difficult for them to send him down to the minors. I am sure someone will claim him and he will not make it through waivers. Doesn’t sound quite right nor fair to me. It appears that the Royals are trying to “hide” Shane before sending him down. He truly does not belong in the minors. He has nothing to gain by playing there nor anything to prove.
