Dreams realized at Royals Alumni Fantasy Camp
Have you ever wanted to take swings against Dennis Leonard, field ground balls with Frank White, or run the bases with Willie Wilson? That’s what a group of 70 loyal Royals fans are doing this week at the 2009 Royals Alumni Fantasy Camp in Surprise, Arizona. The whole week is geared to make it just like life in the big leagues—lockers with nameplates, personalized jerseys, practice sessions, games, food, kangaroo court, and of course, the stories from the alumni.
The 2009 camp is wrapping up, but you can plan ahead for 2010. Look for details later this summer on royals.com.
Today, the campers battled the alumni for bragging rights. Here are a few pictures from sunny Surprise.

Great post! Keep up the fun blogging, cool to watch Around the Horn in KC soar in the MLBlogs Latest Leaders!

This year is my second trip to Fantasy Camp from Sydney Australia. It is the best week of the year (better than christmas). I’ll be back next year.
Jason’s comments are a great testament of the experience at Royals Alumni Fantasy Camp…he travels all the way from Australia! Thanks for your dedication to the Royals!
