Kansas City Royals Celebrity Golf Tournament
Are baseball players really that good at golf?
Well, your chance to find out is on Thursday, Aug. 7 when Royals Charities host the Kansas City Royals Celebrity Golf Tournament and match baseball players up with golf-enthusiast Royals fans!
The first-time tournament, which will be held at The National Golf Club of Kansas City in Parkville, Mo., benefits the Special Olympics of Greater Kansas City - an organization the Royals love working with each season.
It’s an 18-hole tournament that begins with a 7:30 a.m. registration, breakfast, silent auction and driving range accessibility followed by a 9 a.m. shotgun start. KC Masterpiece and Baja 600 will serve lunch on the course for participants. Then, following a day of golf, Royals Charities is throwing a reception with plenty of appetizers and drinks as well as an awards program and additional silent auction. All in all, a pretty nice day hitting the links with the Royals!
Like all good things, there are a limited number of spots for the event available…so you need to reserve your spot now. You can purchase a foursome golf package - four golfers plus a Royals celebrity – for $1,500. If you’d rather not play with your normal golf buddies, buy a single-golfer package for $400 and we’ll match you up on the course. Or…if you don’t want to pick up a golf club at all, you can “Ride with a Royal” for the day for $1,000.
Check out the details (as well as sponsorship opportunities) and/or reserve your spot to play here…and then hit the driving range so you can tee off with the Royals on Aug. 7!

As I am a baseball lover, I try to watch games whenever I have time. But, for me, and without doubt for thousands of other fans all over the world, I love the Kansas City Royals and I do my best to attend their games though we notice that Royals tickets got a little pricy and hard to be found especially when we talk about some hot games. The Kansas City Royals tickets are a little pricy but this should not prevent us from fallowing our favourite team and support it, and this is what means to be a good fan.
