This year’s event, which is scheduled to take place on the field at The K, will feature a live band, drinks, appetizers and more with all proceeds benefiting The Dream Factory. RC GOLF TOURNEY: Here’s just a mention of a new event that Royals Charities will also host this season: the Kansas City Royals Celebrity Golf Tournament at The National on Thursday, Aug. 7. We’ll have more information as we get closer to the date, but if you are an avid golfer and want to test your skills with current and former Royals, you might want to pencil in this date.

AND…SPRING TRAINING: We load the bus to Surprise, Ariz., at the end of this week. Spring Training is less than a month away…are you ready?
