Construction Begins…
Well, they weren’t kidding when they said renovations will begin immediately…
At the Kauffman Stadium Renovation Groundbreaking ceremony on Wednesday, representatives from HOK Sports, Hunt Construction and Walton Construction, along with Royals owner David Glass announced that the first phases of the renovation project would get under way soon. And, on just Friday morning, 
we are seeing just how soon.
Thursday afternoon, a tree removal company transported the trees out in front of the administrative offices – a high construction area this offseason – to a new location, while another crew removed the stadium seats from the Outfield Plaza areas…

Oh wow, it looks so barren without seats. It’s going to be interesting watching the construction over the winter, I hope you continue to post construction updates/pictures here, so I won’t have a wreck on I-70 trying to get a better look!
