Yes, the green draft beer was a popular choice at the Royals “Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day” Happy Hour on Monday. So popular, in fact, that pretty soon the Centerplate concession stand workers had to switch to tinting the drinks blue and then eventually red for the more than 400 Royals fans celebrating at The K. While local Irish band Flannigan’s Right Hook fiddled away on the stage, the crowd also took advantage of the full Irish menu – featuring bangers, corned beef and cabbage, and shepherd’s pie, the beautiful weather and the Royals Green Hat promotion before settling into their seats for the Royals-White Sox game!

Hope everyone had a Happy “Halfway to St. Paddy’s Day”…here’s hoping the Royals can cash in on the good ol’ luck of the Irish for a strong finish this season!
