Lineups: Royals Book Signings

Maxheadphones_tiff_t800 During the Royals’ five-run first inning that led to a 5-0 victory over the Tigers, KU broadcasting legend Max Falkenstien held a book signing outside the Royals team store to meet some of his fans and take in a little Royals baseball. His new book, A Good Place to Stop: 60 Season with Max and the Jayhawks, hit the bookstores this year and Max has spent the summer traveling around the area, meeting fans and telling stories about his days behind the microphone for KU. Co-author Matt Fulks has joined Max for most of his book signings – including last night at Kauffman Stadium – as well as joining the book signings of some other authors Royals fans might be familiar with. Yes, Matt also co-authored Royals broadcaster Denny Matthews’ Tales from the Royals Dugout and Royals Hall of Fame second baseman Frank White’s Good as Gold. Frank and Matt actually have a book signing tonight, while Denny (and Matt!) will be out and about in the community a few times in the next month or two:
