Lineups: Greinke Starts

We are back in action tonight against the Cleveland Indians. Zack Greinke (5-5, 4.40 ERA) takes the mound against Cleveland’s C.C. Sabathia (14-6, 3.43). Before the game, the Royals made a couple of roster moves…we placed outfielder Mark Teahen on the 15-day disabled list (retroactive to Aug. 19) with a left forearm strain. Right-handed pitcher Billy Buckner had his contract purchased from Omaha, replacing Teahen on the active roster. Buckner, who will wear No. 38, will be available for tonight’s game – his first at the Major League level. To make room for Buckner on the 40-man roster, we transferred Mike Sweeney from the 15-day D.L. to the 60-day D.L. Sweeney is up in Omaha right now, scheduled to start in the first game of a doubleheader as DH for the O-Royals tonight.
