What a great way to close out a 4-1 victory over the Blue Jays! The third game of the series is tonight – yes, TONIGHT – our only scheduled Sunday night game of the season, 6:10 p.m. start. We will turn to right-hander Brian Bannister (8-6, 3.32 ERA), while Toronto puts A.J. Burnett on the mound (5-6, 4.31 ERA).

Also, off the field during last night’s game, Cookie Rojas made the rounds at Kauffman Stadium. Honored with a first pitch and a bobblehead Saturday, Rojas visited with former teammate and fellow Royals Hall of Fame second baseman Frank White after jumping on the radio with Denny and Ryan. He also spent a little time in the heat with the RSTN guys, eating nachos and broadcasting live from the All-You-Can-Eat Seats.
