Moose “Unofficial” Fan Club

Hasn’t even inked a deal yet and he already has a fan club and a nickname.

Selected first by the Royals in the First Year Player Draft last Thursday, Mike Moustakas (pronounced ‘moo-STOCK-iss’) has at least four Royals fans hoping he signs with Kansas City.

Justin DaPrato, Blake Carlson, Jason DeJonge and Ryan DaMetz (above, left to right) showed their support of the Royals draft selection by sporting some homemade “Moustakas – Moose Tacos” T-shirts for Sunday’s win over the Phillies. The T-shirts are a result of the guys – who all work together at Level-4 Engineering, LLC. in Leavenworth, Kan. – really, really getting into the 2007 Draft and being big Royals fans.

Even though they admit they were a little surprised by the Royals pick at first, the “Moose Tacos” crew is convinced – after reviewing both video and stats – that Kansas City made a wise choice.

Let’s hope Moose makes the same wise choice and signs.
