Lineups: Greinke vs. "Dice-K"
The Media Relations department – mainly Coordinator of Media Services Dina Wathan – issued nearly 250 credentials for this afternoon’s game, which could only mean one thing: the much-anticipated pitching match-up between Zack Greinke and Daisuke Matsuzaka (Dice-K) is here.
It’s a media frenzy that the Royals – and Major League Baseball – haven’t seen for some time. Not only do fans at Kauffman Stadium have the chance to see the Japanese hero make his Major League debut, but they also get to see Royals favorite Greinke make his first start in a Royals uniform since 2005.
It’s a game for the record books – are you skipping work to be a part of MLB history? Any predictions on what pitch Dice-K will throw first?
