Royals Open Kauffman Stadium to Public

Can’t wait until Opening Day? No problem – we are opening the gates a day early just so you can get a “sneak preview” of your 2007 Royals.

Head out to the ballpark this Sunday, April 1, to watch the team workout from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Park for FREE in Lot M and enter the stadium through Gate B – next to the good ‘ol George Brett statue.

We’ll have drawings to win Royals-related prizes (see list below!) and chances to purchase season ticket packages – that include Opening Day tickets! There’ll be hot dogs and small drinks for $1 each, and the Kauffman Stadium Team Stores will be open so you can stock up early on your Royals gear for the year.

But, even more exciting than all that, we’ll have Alex Gordon, Mark Teahen, Mike Sweeney, Gil Meche, Octavio Dotel, David DeJesus, Buddy Bell and all your other favorite Royals back at Kauffman Stadium playing ball!
